My journey as an artist began in the vibrant city of Kolkata, India, where I was born and raised. Growing up amidst the cultural richness of the "City of Joy," I was always drawn to the beauty in everyday life—the bustling streets, the vibrant festivals, the emotions of people around me.
A self-taught artist, my work blends realism with contemporary expression, capturing moods that reflect both the human spirit and the beauty of nature. My artistic style has evolved through the years, but my core remains the same—art is my language, my way of expressing the intangible. I am deeply fascinated by the way color and texture can convey emotions, tell stories, and create a connection between the artist and the observer. Each of my paintings starts with a raw, unfiltered feeling—whether joy, nostalgia, tranquility, or longing. From there, I build upon it, layering colors and strokes until the story fully unfolds.
Life took me down a more conventional path—earning a Master’s degree in Computer Science and working as a software professional. However, the call of the canvas never faded. In 2025, I made a commitment to bring my art to the forefront, creating pieces that tell stories, inspire, and bring warmth to any space.
